What a great response to the harvest mouse yesterday, a HUGE thanks for all the stars and hearts that have put the UKs smallest mammal on the front of the popular page. Not a place for the likes of me !

We have both sons home again at the minute, the eldest is immobilised with a broken ankle so I dropped him off to his work this morning. The route back to my office conveniently went past the peregrine nest site. I stopped to say hello and congratulate him on the 3rd chick to be born. Apparently there has been a reliable sighting.

Never mind the the ballot box I'm more interested in our Blue Tit Cam Box, #BTCB, where there has been far less excitement and chicks are becoming overdue.
