Weekend escapades

What a day it's been. Glued to the news for much of the morning and G explained lots of British politics to me!

It is time to do a visa run, so we set off at 4:30 and took Pauline with us today as she fancied a bit of a drive. The road was totally clear and we actually did the entire trip in just under 4 hours. Record!

There weren't any 4WDs bashing the Big Red today but G spotted and captured this scene on the opposite side of the road. I think it's a rather splendid shot with the ripples on the sand. We've had so many sandstorms recently, the hard shoulders are disappearing under mini-dunes.
