Molly

She is the matriarch and is around 8 yrs old. She does not lay eggs anymore and hasn't for the last year or two.

I have noticed that her comb is getting very large and her wattles long, much more so than the other fertile chickens. She stands more upright too as if giving the impression of a cockerel. We have no cockerel.

Does anyone out there know anything about this? is it old age? or is it because she is the chief?
