A little different
Had to go to Oban again this morning to pick up a hire van as our old Nissan pick-up has been more or less condemned. As William Street was being resurfaced traffic was being diverted round by the Corran Halls and seeing this stylish church on the Corran Esplanade lit up in the sun I stopped for a couple of minutes to photograph it.
Known colloquially as the 'White Church', it was designed by architect Leslie Grahame MacDougall and opened in 1957 but is now unused and up for sale. Last year it was on the market for £125,000. A bargain!
