On the look out

These American Kestrel fellows our smallest falcon I find difficult to get a close shot at our state park.  This is the closest one to date and it's not as close as I'd like.   This is in the range of 100% crop and I had to use some heavy handed processing.  It was a surprise this morning to find him out in the open as well.  At least in this one image he managed to look in my direction.
