Volunteers all

Well not so much volunteers as, 'The choice guys is to stay in the binliner or get a chance for a swim in the washing machine on gentle cycle followed by a nice view from the window whilst you dry out?'

On a shambolic day when about the best you can salvage is - no more Galloway or Farage, I thought those of us in need of a chuckle might appreciate this.  

It is not an exaggeration to say that we have a considerable number of penguins from the days when Jenny dressed as a penguin in the Village Gala Parade (she is 29 now!)  The time has come to decide how the penguins might be eased into new homes from their place in our loft.  Before this happens, these 'surface washable' ones have undergone trial by handwash cycle to see if they come out unscathed and in fit condition to move on and live with new owners who will love them as much as Jen (and me!) has.  We are thinking a penguin tombola??
