Traditional Ways of Olden Days

Aye..... Beamish Museum again. Honestly if I had the time to go there every day I think I could easily get a blip for everyday of the year and not get bored of it either.

We left it until later this afternoon to go, partly to avoid the crowds and also because we had Rachels car booked in for a valet with a friend of ours. He's done an excellent job of removing the swirls and scratches.

Bank holiday weekends are a good and bad time to go. Bad because its always rammed with loads of people.... But good at the same time because they expect that to happen so they tend to do a bit more. Today we witnessed this horse drawn plough in a field, was great to see. This will probably be left for a little while now and in future they'll have people hoeing and planting vegetables, which when harvested will be used to make the food in the cafe.
