Raindrop

How wonderfully and quintessentially British this afternoon has been. Despite the cold and rain people have flanked the Thames to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee and the BBC televised it in a slightly demented manner which was as far as possible removed from the tone which Raymond Baxter or Richard Dimbleby might have adopted 30 years ago.

Loads of smashing bits including the choristers clearly soaked to the bone and frozen but banging out "Land of Hope and Glory" with magnificent brio. The commentator announcing that the "Wow moment" had been cancelled because of the rain and all those smashing people and boats.

Here's a blip of a raindrop on a rose to remind everyone that we still have drought conditions here in the South East. I've lit the fire and I'm having a Holland's Meat and Tatty pie for me tea - it's not a bad world all things considered. I hope you've beaten this Sunday into shape and that you have an enjoyable evening planned. On ya va!
