Last one standing hanging on - and looking very pretty back-lit with the afternoon sunshine.

Another magnificent warm summers day - three in a row in the low 20 deg.  I feel sure something nasty will whip in and stamp our enjoyment.

Spinning group this morning where three of our group are having birthdays this month.  Our host (one of the birthday girls) gave us all birthday hats, we played silly (but fun) games, one of them Pass the Parcel, and we enjoyed a birthday cake with a candle that played Happy Birthday :)  Good to be silly now and there. Btw, no knitting or spinning was done apart from spinning the odd yarn (or two).

Been reading my book this afternoon while keeping a watch on the UK elections - Scotland sure showed its colours this time!!  Conservatives back in by the looks.

Weekend upon us again, the days just seem to be zooming by.  
Doug planted the broad beans today.
