I met Archie. He was as charming as you would expect someone who smokes a pipe to be. He taught me how to load a pipe. I shall try it this weekend.

I also met Ruby Jones and she's exactly as I expected her to be. Well the accent was a proper surprise. Legend! Three years of virtual friendship transported into reality in ten seconds flat!

We arsed two bottles of wine.

I fear I may regret only the wine tomorrow.
