Wild and woolly

Today we visited the Islay Woollen Mill, via the bluebell woods. It's a cottage industry all by itself - the owner showed us around - there was a mill of some sort on the site from the 1500s. All through the buildings there were ancient machines, like this typewriter, some working, some not.

In the afternoon we walked around Kintra on The Oa. - the sun shone and the wind dropped and the landscape was stunning.

Now we're watching the election coverage - we all voted by post last week so we feel quite divorced from it all...
