Bit of planning over breakfast, then got myself back into a normal work mind and caught up a bit on email. Had a lovely walk along the river-very impressed by Liverpool and would like to come again. Beautiful buildings. Took a punt on making a link to an interesting organisation in Liverpool and it paid off-lunch with their research director was really useful and a great connection made. Train to MK (bloomin pendolino again-they really make me feel sick!) then collapsed at K's. What a week!
