Stakeout

Took advantage of waking early on my day off to keep an eye on who comes to dine 'chez nous ' from the new bird feeder. I tried standing by the window, but every time I moved my camera to get a shot, they saw me and flew off! So, sat back on the sofa, hence the shot is rather far far away.

After about an hour the rain came, so I gave up and got one with the rest of my day, quite busy doing nothing!

Dinner in the evening with Helen. She'd made me a creamy cheesy veg pie. I'd made us a creamy lemony cheesecakey dessert. not a meal for dieters! Oh well, as Helen said, at least we had ' healthy ' chips ( done in a machine that uses very little oil )!
