Unfurling Frond

After a showery day, I was fortunate to have good weather on my waterside walk after work.

There were more young water babies out on the lake. More ducklings, more cootlings, and new gooslets and one little grebelet! The young geese have a very special parent - the leucistic greylag.

The ferns are also unfolding and creating some great tortured shapes.
