Not What it Seems

Sitting in the living room at my dads, and realised that a little foal in the field appeared to be caught in the fence. My dad leaves the room, and walks in a few minutes later carrying his air rifle. Jokingly he exclaims, "I'll just put it out of its misery", but really he was just looking through the 'scope' to see if it was actually caught. You could call that irony anyway. Luckily the foal wasn't stuck, and just happened to be interested in something over the fence!
