Helping Great Gran with her birthday candles

We had the very pleasant task this morning of helping Mum/Mother-in-law/Gran/Great Gran celebrate her 90th birthday.
As usual, Euan and Eve, aided and abetted now by James, were keen to help with the candles. An indoor picnic lunch was followed by running up and down the garden and a walk to the little park.
Back home and grass cut, car washed and a few other tasks accomplished.
No wonder we sleep soundly at night!
