Swollen river

It actually stayed dry today, and the morning and much of the afternoon were sunny. I should have got out for a walk then, but I wanted to get to the gym, and knew that if I put it off till the afternoon, I would probably end up not going at all! So it was late afternoon before I got chance to get out for a short walk by the river, before going grocery shopping. I was amazed how high the water was, and by the speed of the current. Needless to say, this little boat jetty is normally at the water's edge!
