General Election

As much as I have tried to ignore all the sniping and point scoring of the last few weeks, it is finally election day. First time ever I have used a postal vote as I'm away. This pile of ignored fliers through the door of our holiday cottage kind of sums it up.

Having said that, great day had meeting up with a second cousin who Ive not seen for 40 years, living in the idyllic depths of the Suffolk countryside. Rounding off the day with dinner out with good friends. Life can be good.
