Sleepy Lambs

It's been a mostly wet day and very windy too.  The afternoon has had brighter spells with some sunshine but showers now and again.

With the dull wet day, it gave me the chance to finish off cleaning the house.  After my chores were out of the way, I headed in to Lerwick to get some things. 
I was out in Scalloway after lunch and visiting big Brian and Madeline.  Back home and been to see friends Douglas and Iris and been along granny Lorna too :)
Off out tonight for pint or two with friends, since I'm on holiday :)

My new neighbours are these lovely peerie lambs :)  It's been hard for crofters all over Shetland with the wet and windy spells lately and the poor peerie lambs are finding it tough going.  Fine to see this ones taking advantage of a dry spell and catching up with a must needed rest.  Taken at Aith, Cunningsburgh.
