A Retreat Day at Stanton House in Oxfordshire :)  (I spent a week here last summer and have visited many other times too)

Stanton is a Christian Retreat House where you can plan, or not plan your own day (and we are fed very well) which is great!  So I walked in pouring rain this morning and spent the afternoon in the prayer room which was very peaceful :)

I was here with a friend this time.  When we arrived and were having coffee, another lady who I met last August turned up too which was great!  She is the sister of a former Minister's wife, its a very small world sometimes :)

(One worrying event today was that a little girl (who had come with the local village playgroup to use a room as the Polling Station was in the Church Hall) fell into the local river on the way home!  Praise God she was saved and is OK, with apparently few ill effects)

Home now and thankfully staying in tonight, as I'm exhausted yet again (and that's with a very restful day)...  Hoping to catch up with watching Inspector George Gently on iplayer as I missed it last night (and there appears to be nothing but rubbish on TV tonight) :)
 
(In case you're wondering I voted just after 7am, for what its worth...I'm not sure any of the parties are any good really, but there are one or two I definitely wouldn't want to get in and run a Government!)

Apologies for lack of commenting on your journals, I'm still coping with the phased return to work, thank goodness its Friday tomorrow (and I've only worked two days this week, I dread to think what next week will be like) :)
