Up on the downs

It's been a while since I took a shot from the driving seat.      This was taken as I drove across Epsom Downs this morning.

My day off but I had a lot of off duty duties to perform, such as hot footing over to my Dad's to see to him and step mama.  They are both incapacitated at the moment due to some over zealous gardening.  Both are well into their 80's and really should be spending more time sitting down.     So I performed my daughterly duties, went shopping for them, ran a couple of errands, made their lunch, did some housework for them, ticked them off for not asking us for help in the garden  etc etc.

I have now cast my vote and I am about to cook dinner and then flop for the evening.
