In a galaxy far, far away...

I have a series of photographic experiments to do with clients if the weather is rubbish and today I was practising the olive oil one.

You suspend a glass dish between two boxes/chairs, and pop a colourful scarf underneath. Then put some water in the dish and drop in some olive oil. Swish around the oil till you get some interesting patterns of droplets - pop the camera on a tripod and focus on the olive oil...you need to manually focus as the camera is not sure what to auto focus on. It works best if you light the dish and scarf with a desk lamp or something similar.

Then create your own galaxy!!
