Two trees
Mike went to see the accountant in Munlochy to day so I went along for the ride and waited in the car.I watched lots of birds, mainly sparrows, flying in the field and in the bushes. A large heron flew over heading for Munlochy Bay. I was going to go for a walk but the hailstones started again so I stayed put.
I had noted the yellow rape behind two of my favourite tree so we stopped on the way back to get a few shots.
The sun was now shining and the fields glowed a golden yellow. The blossom tree near the cathedral was a mass of blooms and three ducks were sunning themselves at the harbour.
We had all posted our postal votes a week ago so we had no pressure to go the Polling station. We 'll have to wait till the morning for the result but we may not know who will be Prime minister for a while if it's as close as predicted.
