Sparrowhawk

This flew over the garden this afternoon! I just happened to have my camera to hand, hoping to catch my 'in flight' shot for the month. I had something smaller in mind, perhaps a goldfinch against this gorgeous blue sky. I'll settle for this handsome chap though. I can't quite make out the flavour of his catch, but I'm assuming that since it is being carried off, at quite a height, that a small sparrowhawk chick will not be going hungry for a wee while.
