THE OPEN DOOR

Although the morning was cold and windy, when the sun finally got the better of the last remaining clouds, the day mellowed and the sunlight streamed into the front rooms.
 This is the advantage of a North facing house - cool in summer when the sun's arc is high and warm in winter when the oblique rays of sunlight penetrate deep into the room.
No rain predicted for the week end.
