When little fingers get stuck in drawers or accidentally rolled on by chair wheels, to go outside and see a birdie is a good distraction from tears. 

Trying to baby-proof low drawers and cupboards. Create a mess to tidy properly. Lots of things I'd like to throw out. Do I need that? Will I ever need that? If I only knew the answers!!!
