Rodger Towne and his wife Carol walk arm in arm down Charlotte Street. They are visiting from Guadalajara, Mexico, and this their first time to Charleston. Rodger used to own Budget Rent-a-Car and knows people from all over. He rattled off a list of at least 10 names of people he knew from Kentucky thinking that I, too, may know some of them. Carol's father was a pharmacist who graduated from pharmacy school in Detroit at the age of 16.
