Cairn

This morning I was over to Livingston for the baptismal service for Caitlin, my friends' baby. She was good as gold during the service despite being miserable with teething. This cairn was built on the floor of the church as part of the service - we had done something similar at her mum and dad's wedding too, so the continuity was a lovely touch. Afterwards, as is always the case at this particular church, was a fabulous spread - of course I ate far too much, eyes bigger than my stomach as my dad always used to say.

In other news, happy (real life, not blip) birthday to me - I hope you're impressed with the long weekend and celebrations I managed to wangle for you all :)
