Feeding Time

Nadia from the Hedgehog Hospital came over to see the garden today, with a view to using it as a release site.
It's not just hogs she fixes. She brought this baby starling with her that she's hand rearing, as well. It needs feeding every hour. Very cute :0)

Did you know that hedgehogs in the UK are endangered, and that some estimates predict their extinction by 2020? I didn't, and I was a little... shocked. I cannot imagine the UK without hedgehogs.
