Homeward Bound

I spent much of the day at an event about cyber security and law enforcement.  

After a number of academic speakers, my favourite line of they day came from an old colleague of mine "I'm too busy fixing it to care whether you call it information security or cyber security".  He hasn't changed!  He'll be busy tonight protecting digital infrastructure for the election broadcasts - who even knew that was a job?

This evening I was out late chairing (rather grumpily) a finance meeting, and by the time I was finally homeward bound it had turned into a beautiful spring-like evening.  A welcome change after a pretty grey week.
