#humansofshrewsbury
this is grace. coffee maker extraordinaire at our newest shrewsbury coffeehouse, a non-profit cafe supporting some great charities.
i 'met' grace years ago when we both used to contribute to a really, really cool facebook group dedicated to drawing episodes of neighbours using microsoft paint (bulliblips, don't pretend you don't remember it). i was a huge fan of grace's work. then i left for africa and she set sail to live on a boat until the pull of shropshire brought us both back. we met (for reals, this time) a couple of years ago when we both moved back. after the awkwardness of meeting someone who you've only known through the medium of microsoft paint, she is now one of my favourite people in shrewsbury. she's a fellow photographer and now works in this uber cool cafe run by one of our local churches.
today we popped out with chickensparrow for lunch, where she created me a new photography logo in a few minutes. she's actually a genius and i want to be her. oh, and i tried to do some work at various points.
tonight i've got my first ever squash coaching session and i'm a little nervous. the real bummer is that tjc is currently injured so i won't have anyone to show off my new tricks to. selfish.
