Marsh Valerian

These lovely flowers are just coming into bloom in a slightly squelchy field near me. This species is dioecious, with male and female flowers on separate plants, unlike the closely related Common Valerian. This is a male plant shwing up nicely against a large clump of Marsh Marigolds.
