As Worn On Eagles' Wings ...

That's how I felt when I ran through the streets with the wind blowing in my back ...  

A day a bit like yesterday except for the thunder and the hail in our part of the country. Many petals of the blossom of the apple tree are laying now on the soil.

Today I made a portrait of an eagle, which was the most practicable by the way. This bird of prey lives in Blijdorp Zoo in a big cage. The only way to shoot it is making your picture with the netting of the cage against your (tele)lens. So the picture is point nor needle sharp.

And how I tried to draw the birds attention, it refused to look in my direction. So I had to be satisfied with this off-looking pose ... ;-)
