The Bears are back in town
1. It's a different kettle of paint this morning as the posh boy comes out the tin and kicks some common paint arse. I do a little dance dance and refuse to use any more crabbittness on this room. I paint til about 1pm then tidy things up a bit, wash the living room floor - that kind of thing.
2. Over to the glue factory where Gilly and Olly have been setting up, as I turn the corner I see the finish line and it's triumphant - checkered bunting, a chalked line, certificates and medals are ready. There's even a claxon.
3. We get the two minute call and the crowd goes wild. It's dead exciting...here they come. The Roller Polars ride into town for the last time as a team.
4. It started here. Since then they've cycled about 350 miles and performed 17 times in schools to a few thousand kids in the bottom half of the country. They should be so proud. I know we are.
5. Better than that, Colin's home. Cava o'clock.
