" I CAN SING A RAINBOW "

What a windy day we have had with very heavy rain outbursts.  After taking Matthew back, went into the Estate Agents to see if there was any progress.  The good news was yes and no.  Now we have someone else with a few problems which we will have to wait to be resolved!!!!!  I need some more pills.

This afternoon Phoebe and I tried to time our run in between the squally showers.  We nearly managed it only getting slightly damp.  We had excitement in the village when a small tree had come down and closed the road.  Fortunately Mostyn, our local handyman who only lives across the road, was on hand with his chain saw and all was cleared in about 10 minutes, freeing the traffic to flow once again.  I managed to capture it (see extra photo).

As we walked back up towards the village Square next to the pub and the church we were blessed with this amazing rainbow.

Tonight we have been round to dinner with J and B who also invited PA and Bob.  They have been loyal supporters at Milverton Music Club for the last 4 years so it was good to see them before we depart from the village.
