Cycle Paths

Tonight was an evening of firsts at my cycling lesson. The weather was awful - wind and heavy rain and I was the only person that turned up so I assumed it would be cancelled !  No such luck, the trainer decided it was time I tried going on a cycle path ( first No1 )  To join the main cycle path - Great Central Way - we had to cross one of the busiest junctions in Leicester via a Toucan crossing ( first No2 )  Once on the main path we cycled for about 2 miles before the weather finally beat us ( first No3 ) I have only been out on my bike in the dry before tonight !!
In all I cycled about 5 miles - for me that is a huge achievement - a warm up for most people I know
Next year Tour de Yorkshire.
