Dark

It was dark , stormy and lashing rain here in the afternoon with some cloudy moments of calm. Indoors until evening .

Beautiful island - so much at the mercy of the elements. Islanders are resilient and resigned to the limitations of extreme weather.

I was looking at the policies and systems in place in the care home here to support end of life care today .

My own Dad died on the 5th May 1999 , sixteen years ago today. The sense of loss doesn't go away.
