Inside the Little Greenhouse
Ultra warm weather (26ºC (80) yesterday and a little cooler today after a lovely rain last night. So, into the garden raised bed the seedlings are going!
The cluster on the left is a bin filled with Red clover (long flowers) and in front is my prise: "Winter Luxury" squash.
These vines produce the most creamy, delicious, small pumpkin-like, hard storing squash. They come from heirloom seeds that have been saved since the Puritans grew them before (and after) the colonists broke free from Britain. The strict Puritans calle these a "luxury" because during the long and cold winters such a sweet squash seemed luxurious to them.
If the crop comes forth, I shall send a blip out.
