Slow Waters

Although there is more water in the stream leading to the outlet of the Taylor Dam it is moving very slowly. There is a considerable amount of "frog porridge" on the surface of the water. Golden leaves from the nearby poplar trees have fallen and settled on top of the frog porridge. When the dog and I arrived there this morning a couple were busy gathering water cress from the edge of the waterway.
