Fun in the sun

After breakfast we grabbed some snacks before showing Izzy around Toronto! We showed her Kensington Market, then queens street and the CN tower. At 1:30 we hopped on the ferry to Toronto island and started exploring! It was amazing weather so we shared a pizza for lunch (with leftovers saved for dinner!) and went to lie on the beach for a few hours. There is even a 'clothes optional' beach but we stayed at the normal one haha. There were also bike rentals, kids amusement parks and an ice cream shop. We queued for the ferry with everyone else heading back to downtown for the evening and got a great view of the skyline on the way back! When we got back to the hostel we were all shattered but determined to enjoy our Saturday night! We couldn't get into the pub some of the others said they were going to so tried a few more bars in the Kensington area. Then we fancied some post-wine ice cream but had to go to a different place which wasn't as good...
