And of course this is how I traveled, seen here about to head down the parking ramp into the garage under my building. According to the odometer, I went just over 300 miles in 3 days (in reality it was probably more like 280).

I'm still not entirely comfortable with owning an internal combustion vehicle, but this one is great, fun, and gets made fun of surprisingly little (not really an issue for me, but it's always nice not to be mocked - and I get lots of friendly "what kinda mileage that thing get?" queries, which are always fun for that moment of shock when I respond).

Anyway, this is probably the only multi-day solo scooter trip I'll need to take. I had to do one before I started working again to experience it, and the scooter part was great, but the solo trip experience was not ideal.
