Not a rose

Good weather day devoted to tidying up some of the garden.  'Tidying up' doesn't sound too arduous.  That is not how it feels.

On my travels, I spotted this Hellebore.  It is known for its winter flowers and it is sometimes called the 'Winter Rose' even though it is not related to the rose.  It is supposed to ward off evil spells and break curses.  Doesn't seem to affect the weeds though.
