All about the food

Bank holiday... and it's all been about food, family and friends. We went to see Dan's family for a pub lunch - some of his maternal side are over from Canada. I've met his Auntie before, but not his cousins and second cousins. 

After that, we went to another pub to meet my oldest friends Sarah and Lewis. Sarah's brother in law happened to be there too, with his fiancee and baby girl and two boys. Chris is also one of my oldest friends, but I don't see him much nowadays, so it was good to see him and his family. We also bumped into another close friend Ruth and her boyfriend Lee, so all in all, it was a good catch up with people.

We came home and just ate Chinese takeaway. Our local takeaway is really good, so it was a lovely end to a great day.
