First Open Water Swim

And it was pretty cold. But I loved it. I just love being out in the open water. Especially lakes. Someone said this looks like the Loch Ness monster. I can see what they mean....but it is me....honest.
Started my day with a seven mile run. I've never run that far without stopping before. I'm so pleased I did it. Not at all fast but I did it. I also entered the London Marathon ballot today too.
Had a lovely BBQ today. Can't keep going out to eat. Thought we'd take advantage of the nice weather.
Looking forward to Wednesday....my boy is coming home :)
