Mono Monday :: Star Wars :: mm66

Imperial stormtrooper, TK721, had looked forward to his short R&R from the tiresome fighting. Unfortunately his cover was blown in Brugge when his experimental morphing TIE fighter had transformed into something totally out of keeping for the local area and period. 

This is Matilda in Brugge today. The Stormtrooper is added from a photograph of a T shirt in a local shop window also taken today, just not at the same time.

Well it was the only way I could get Matilda in Brugge and keep to the Mono Monday theme of Star Wars! Some folk don’t make these thing easy, do they… ;o)


We’re back home now after our mini tour. We popped into Ypres for lunch on the way back to the Eurotunnel. When we parked up at the terminal I heard someone comment to his family as he pointed at Matilda, ‘I’d sooner have that than that Lamborghini any day.’ We also had number of thumbs up and big smiles as we past people so I’m glad I took her over. She didn’t miss a beat although waiting in line for passport and customs she did start to get a little hot under the bonnet.
