Wray

The start of Wray Caton Moor Fell race.

The race starts in the middle of the village before heading out across the fields and eventually onto the fell.  After taking this picture and waiting for the junior races to clear the street I jumped into the car to drive a couple of miles to watch the runners as they reached the fell.  When I got there it was clear that the marshal hadn't turned up so I made sure they all crossed safely, not an onerous job as it is a really quiet road.
