'Take a Seat'

A nice morning...the sun came out! I drove over to Merriments Gardens, Hurst Green......a four acre garden that we've been visiting regularly over sixteen years. The Tulips, part of their Flower Festival, were all beginning to fade...but still lots of colour, and plenty of beautiful foliage!

Was passed by hundreds of motor bikes...people lining the roads and police and ambulances standing by. They would have been on their way to the Hastings 1066 May Bank Holiday bike festival. Some of the bikers had decorated their helmets. P and S have been there all day! Now the rain is here this evening.
