Today I baked my first sourdough bread

It was horrible. Half decent rise but a closed texture. While I was mixing it Paul gagged saying it had a beer vomit smell... It didn't get any better after baking. It was soooo sour! Back to the proving draw. More research needed!

In other news my peonie bush is blossoming, it has the most amazing deep pink flowers. I'm in love with my garden.
