Making Way

Lucky thing we chose yesterday for our trip to the summer house, because today has been All Rain and very little play outside. For the first time in history, I passed on my second walkie. On our morning one, when my paws and my person got wet enough for one day, we walked past these guys, who are giving the final asphalty touches to what we believe is a tennis court, and the connecting bicycle road. Very impressive and slightly intimidating machinery and smells.

I have spent the better part of the day sleeping. It has been wonderful! I love sleeping, and it feels like I really needed a quiet day. Mum went shopping without me, and came home with what looks like nice chow, my favourite treats, claw clippers (Me: what?? Mum: the old one is in three pieces) and a spot in the obedience class starting tomorrow night. Things are slowly getting back to normal.
