Watching in the crowds
Lots of people on the High Street again today. Last day of Sweeps' so beer was flowing (only £2 a pint after 3pm) all sorts of nice food to try and entertainment to watch and listen to - official and ad hoc!
I did my stint in the shop - lots of sales - the figures will be right up today! Then Fred met me with a lovely packed plowman's lunch which we ate (with swiftly purchased beers) by the memorial where we could people watch. After that we took a wander and saw the beginning of the parade at the low end of the High Street where some students were playing.
Couldn't resist this shot of the cow/bull watching the Morris dancers; just love the way no one is giving them a second glance!
